Role Description The Senior Civil Engineer role at c&ds is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. The Senior Civil Engineer will lead the design and review of civil engineering projects, including site development, road and drainage systems, and stormwater management solutions. Responsibilities include preparing and checking engineering drawings, calculations, and reports, as well as ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and local regulations. The role involves planning project phases, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting client meetings and presentations. The Senior Civil Engineer will also assist in preparing cost estimates, schedules, and technical documentation to support successful project delivery.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering principles, with experience delivering infrastructure or land development projects.
Experience guiding and collaborating with Civil Engineers and other technical staff, including mentoring, review, and coordination.
Skills in Planning and project coordination, including organizing tasks, timelines, and resources for multiple concurrent projects.
Knowledge and practical experience in Stormwater Management, including drainage design, flood mitigation, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Proficiency with relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar tools).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
Ability to communicate clearly with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, and to work effectively in an on-site team environment in Lucknow.
Professional licensure or eligibility for licensure as a civil engineer, where applicable, is an advantage.
