2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer role is essential for bridging development and operations through collaboration, infrastructure as code, automation, and system maintenance. This position leads modernization efforts of cloud architecture, building a scalable and compliant Azure foundation to support enterprise growth. The role involves end-to-end leadership of infrastructure projects, integration of security best practices, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation. It directly contributes to the organization''s operational efficiency and technological advancement.
3. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and communicate progress
Design and implement infrastructure as code solutions
Automate deployment, scaling, and management of application infrastructure
Maintain systems to meet organizational requirements
Lead incident response and root cause analysis efforts
Manage infrastructure projects from design through implementation and operational ownership
Integrate security best practices into the infrastructure lifecycle
Document technical procedures, configurations, and solution architectures
4. Requirements:
7+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, or site reliability engineering
5+ years of experience with container orchestration tools (e.g., AKS, EKS) and related deployment and monitoring
Expertise with technologies including Github Actions, Azure Terraform Modules, Azure Landing Zones, Azure Networking, Azure App Insights, Azure FrontDoor, Azure PLDMC Services, and Azure Data Factory
Experience scaling platforms on Azure with knowledge of reference architectures
Proven ability to implement DevOps culture and foster collaboration between development and operations
Skills in designing monitoring solutions for cloud infrastructure
Experience optimizing system reliability, scalability, and performance through DevOps
Motivated to identify, prioritize, and solve problems, with effective communication skills
Preferred certifications: AZ-400, CKA, CKAD, Docker Certified Associate, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, relevant security certifications
Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, DataDog, and CloudWatch
Strong interpersonal skills with empathy and courtesy
Experience in the healthcare industry
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Salary range of $160,000 to $200,000, depending on geography and experience
Possible equity and annual bonus
