Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Senior Airborne Survey Geophysicist based in Telangana, India. The geophysicist will plan and execute airborne geophysical survey missions, including flight planning, sensor configuration, and coordination with field and aviation teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing data acquisition, monitoring data quality in real time, and ensuring adherence to safety and operational procedures. The role involves processing and interpreting geophysical datasets, generating maps and reports, and presenting technical findings to project managers and clients. The geophysicist will also support the optimization of survey methodologies, maintain survey equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement of data processing workflows.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Geophysical Surveys and Geophysics, with experience in airborne survey design and execution.
Candidates should possess skills in Geophysical Data Processing and Data Processing, including use of relevant software tools and workflows.
Candidates should possess skills in Data Acquisition, with the ability to monitor, validate, and document survey data in the field.
Relevant academic background such as a degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, Physics, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience with airborne or ground-based geophysical instrumentation and survey logistics.
Ability to work in field conditions, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills, including preparation of technical documentation and presentations.
Familiarity with GIS tools, mapping software, and standard data visualization techniques is an advantage.
