Role Overview
The Purchase/Procurement Specialist will lead procurement of raw materials and packaging materials, ensuring cost efficiency, quality compliance, and uninterrupted supply to support manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement of cosmetic raw materials and packaging materials.
Develop and maintain a strong vendor base; negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts.
Ensure timely procurement aligned with production planning to avoid shortages or delays.
Monitor and control inventory levels to maintain optimum stock.
Ensure all materials meet company quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Prepare cost comparison statements and drive cost optimization initiatives.
Maintain accurate procurement documentation and ERP records.
Coordinate closely with Production, QA, R&D, and Finance teams for smooth operations.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
1-8 years of procurement experience in cosmetics, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industry.
Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost-control skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
