Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Planning & Inventory Management
Ensure effective planning and forecasting of WTG spares, consumables, PM materials, and critical components for OMS sites.
Maintain optimum inventory levels to support uninterrupted site operations.
Monitor material consumption trends and prepare rolling forecasts based on maintenance schedules and breakdown requirements.
Coordinate with site teams to identify future material requirements and ensure timely availability.
Procurement Coordination & Vendor Management
Coordinate with procurement teams for timely sourcing and procurement of planned materials.
Follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Support vendor development initiatives and alternate vendor identification to improve service levels and optimize costs.
Assist in cost reduction initiatives through demand consolidation, alternate materials, and commercial negotiations.
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control
Ensure proper inventory management and stock accuracy across area warehouses.
Monitor SAP transactions including Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), Material Transfers, Rejections, and Return Materials.
Ensure completion of GRIR activities within prescribed timelines.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation with system inventory.
Coordinate internal and external audit compliance related to warehouse functions.
Logistics Management
Coordinate material movement between sites, warehouses, vendors, and regional stores.
Ensure timely dispatch and receipt of critical materials.
Optimize logistics planning to reduce transportation costs and improve service levels.
Support commercial documentation related to transportation and material transfers.
SAP & Process Compliance
Ensure adherence to SCM policies, inventory control procedures, and SAP discipline.
Maintain accurate material master data and inventory records.
Monitor aging inventory, non-moving stock, and excess inventory and initiate corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with internal audits, statutory requirements, and company guidelines.
Review, MIS & Reporting
Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports related to inventory, material consumption, procurement status, and stock availability.
Analyze inventory trends and provide recommendations for improving inventory turnover.
Participate in periodic reviews with SCM, OMS, and Finance teams.
Support management with data-driven decisions for inventory optimization and cost control.
Required QualificationEducation
Diploma / B.E. (Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial Engineering or equivalent)
Experience
07 to 12 Years in Material Planning, Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Procurement.
