Geographic : National
Sub-Functions: NOC, Central Operations, Field Operations, Network Security
No. of reports (direct & indirect)- if any : (>1000 outsourced/ indirect headcount) While the execution layer is currently outseourced , the Head - Network operations can develop strategies to detremine the best way forward for us to realise our Network Performance objectives

Key Result Areas
Network Opex < 725Cr. in FY' 27
Service Delivery as per CRDD
Network Customer Complaint Index (CCI) < 7.5
Open Network Faults >24 hrs to be <100
Responsibilities
Responsible for Service Delivery, Network Performance SLA/ KPIs incl. Availability, MTTR, and Latency etc.
RFO, RCA and CAPA (incl. engagement with Network Engineering) for all Network Outages
MS Partners,TP Providers , IRU, and OEM AMC Management and Governance
Network Operations Audits, Assets and Security Management
Nework Operations MIS, dashboards and MS Partners, customer, and business escalation management
Necessary
Preferred
Skills/ Capabilities and competencies
Thorough knowhow of Enterprise Networks & underlying infra, fiber and transport technologies like OTN, DWDM, ASON, PTN & SDH. Knowledge of IP/ MPLS, packet networking, and Internet.
CCNA/ CCIE
Excellent understanding of Voice systems such as IMS, NGN, SBC and MGW.
Virtualization and Cloud technologies
Business/ commercial acumen to select, operate & manage in-house/ outsourced ops.
Good vendor managenemnt skills
Qualification
BE (ECE/ Telecom/ EEE)
ME/ MBA
Overall Work Experience
Essential Requirement
25+ years managing network operations in a carrier grade telco/ ISP
Management of Voice, Data, and Internet operations of Enterprise and Retail Customers
Experience in management of large teams
Behavioural Attributes
High degree of reslience, process orientation, strong discipline, and positive attitude.
