Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Intern role at Weskill is a remote internship focused on supporting the development and enhancement of AI-driven learning solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with data collection and preprocessing, contributing to the design and evaluation of machine learning models, and supporting research activities related to AI applications in education and training. The intern will collaborate with mentors and team members to implement prototypes, document findings, and refine algorithms based on performance metrics. This internship offers practical experience in applying AI and data science concepts in a real-world, learner-focused environment.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Data Science, with the ability to understand core concepts and workflows.
Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting data, evaluating model performance, and solving complex problems.
Exposure to Machine Learning techniques, algorithms, and common frameworks or libraries.
Programming skills in at least one relevant language (such as Python, R, or Java) for implementing and testing AI models.
Interest in artificial intelligence, educational technology, and continuous learning.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate using online tools.
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate program in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related disciplines).
Good written and verbal communication skills to document work clearly and discuss technical concepts with the team.
