Company Description Finteger Global is a professional services firm specializing in taxation, management consulting, finance, and accounting.
One of our clients headquartered in Saudi Arabia, runs a chain of Multi-Concept Food and Beverage restaurants, currently with 3 brands and 10 branches and is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their corporate team.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cost Accountant role based in Saudi Arabia.
The Cost Accountant is responsible for analyzing, managing, and optimizing costs across multiple restaurant concepts, including fast food, coffee shops, and fine dining establishments. This role involves tracking food and beverage costs, controlling inventory, preparing financial reports, and ensuring profitability across all branches. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and presentation skills and a proactive approach to cost management.

Working days : 6 days (Sat - Thu)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cost Control & Financial Analysis:
• Monitor and analyze food, beverage, and labor costs for all restaurant branches and concepts.
• Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Compare actual costs with budgeted costs and report variances with recommendations.
• Conduct break-even analysis and profitability assessments for each restaurant concept.
• Work closely with operations to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
2. Inventory Management & Reporting:
• Develop and maintain accurate inventory tracking systems across all branches.
• Conduct regular inventory audits, ensuring minimal losses and wastage.
• Ensure proper stock valuation and reconciliation with financial statements.
• Track and analyze spoilage, shrinkage, and portion control to maintain profitability.
• Maintain an updated database of food, beverage, and supply costs.
3. Menu Engineering & Pricing Strategy:
• Collaborate with chefs, managers, and purchasing teams to analyze menu costs and profitability.
• Recommend menu price adjustments based on ingredient costs, market trends, and competitor analysis.
• Develop food cost formulas and ensure that all recipes are cost-effective.
• Identify high-margin and low-margin items to optimize menu offerings.
4. Supplier & Procurement Cost Management:
• Review supplier contracts and pricing to ensure competitive procurement.
• Work with the purchasing team to negotiate cost-effective vendor agreements.
• Track raw material costs, seasonal price fluctuations, and their impact on profitability.
• Ensure cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality standards.
5. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Reporting:
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts for each restaurant concept.
• Provide cost reports,, and financial insights to management.
• Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions to optimize profits.
• Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure cost-effective business decisions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting.
• Exposure to food & beverage or hospitality industry will be preferred but is not a pre-requisite.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Foodics, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-branch environment and meet tight deadlines.
