The Role
As a .NET Windows Developer Intern, you will work closely with our senior engineers to design, build, and optimize Windows desktop applications. This is a hands-on role where you will write production code, tackle real-world architectural challenges, and learn how to build software that scales. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and deployment of Windows desktop applications using C# and the .NET Framework/.NET Core.
Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces utilizing WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) or WinForms.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and internal style guides.
Collaborate with the backend and web teams to consume RESTful APIs and integrate cloud services.
Identify bottlenecks, debug complex issues, and optimize application performance.
Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and architectural discussions.
What We’re Looking For
Solid foundational knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, and/or .NET Core.
Academic or project-level experience building desktop applications with WPF or WinForms.
Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server, SQLite) and writing basic queries.
Basic understanding of version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to learn new frameworks and tools quickly.
Bonus Points
Experience with MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) architecture.
Familiarity with modern deployment practices, CI/CD pipelines, or containerization.
Previous side projects or a GitHub portfolio showcasing your .NET capabilities.
