Position: Application Security Engineer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $30 - $100/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
Create realistic and challenging coding tasks for AI to solve.
Implement deterministic verifiers for solution validation.
Build scalable services and APIs.
Conduct secure coding, appsec, and pentesting.
Perform vulnerability assessments and security-focused reviews.
Requirements
Have strong relevant experience in backend development with Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, Typescript, Python, C++ or similar.
Demonstrated success in identifying and resolving software bugs and system bottlenecks.
Experience with codebase refactoring and implementing complex features in large-scale applications.
Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and foundational computer science concepts.
A cybersecurity or SecOps background is a big plus.
