We are looking for an experienced UI Automation Engineer to join our QA team and work on front-office applications within the Financial Services / Capital Markets domain.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Node.js, automation framework development, and a solid understanding of Fixed Income trading workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain robust UI automation scripts using Playwright and Node.js
Automate test cases transitioned from manual QA
Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
Test Fixed Income trading workflows and products
Integrate automation with Jenkins/CI-CD pipelines
Work with JIRA/XRay for test management, execution tracking, and defect lifecycle
Contribute to regression planning, test orchestration, and suite optimization
Perform API testing and database validation where required
Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple environments
Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA teams, and global stakeholders
Provide clear reporting on QA progress, defects, metrics, and risks
Ensure adherence to agreed SLA/TAT and quality standards
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Python
Proficiency in Node.js
Experience with Cucumber / BDD / Behave
Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD
Hands-on experience with JIRA and XRay
Strong understanding of UI automation framework design
Experience in test data management, reporting, and reusable automation components
Knowledge of API testing
Understanding of Fixed Income / Bond Trading / Capital Markets
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
