Role Description The Analytical Instrumentation Technician is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing analytical and process instrumentation used in technology-driven environments. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring instrument performance, performing calibrations, and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure accuracy and reliability. Need a qualified resource who can perform calibration and preventive maintenance (PM) activities on two Waters H-Class UPLC GxP instruments. The role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, coordinating repairs, and documenting maintenance activities according to established procedures. The technician will work closely with engineering and operations teams to improve process control, support system upgrades, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. This position requires clear communication, thorough record-keeping, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Instrumentation and Calibration, with experience ensuring accurate measurements and reliable equipment performance.
Hands-on expertise in Preventive Maintenance and Troubleshooting to diagnose issues and maintain system uptime.
Knowledge of Process Control principles and practices for supporting stable, efficient operations.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Familiarity with computer-based monitoring systems and basic software tools used in instrumentation environments.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and consistent documentation of maintenance activities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with remote teams and client stakeholders.
Relevant technical certification or associate degree in instrumentation, electronics, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in industrial, laboratory, or manufacturing settings with analytical equipment is a plus.
