Role Description The Shift Incharge is a full-time, on-site role based in Warangal, responsible for supervising day-to-day operations during assigned shifts. This role involves overseeing workforce allocation, monitoring productivity, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and company guidelines. The Shift Incharge coordinates tasks among team members, addresses operational issues, and escalates concerns when necessary to management. Daily responsibilities include tracking shift performance metrics, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring smooth handover between shifts. The role also requires clear communication with staff and supervisors, timely reporting, and proactive support in meeting operational targets.
Qualifications
Ability to supervise teams on the shop floor or operational site, including task allocation, shift monitoring, and performance tracking.
Skills in basic operations management such as scheduling, resource planning, and coordination with other departments or shift leads.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to give clear instructions, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Attention to detail with capability to maintain records, prepare shift reports, and follow standard operating procedures and compliance requirements.
Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Ability to work in rotating or fixed shifts, remain calm under pressure, and make prompt, practical decisions in day-to-day operations.
Prior experience in a supervisory or shift incharge role in manufacturing, logistics, facilities, or similar operational settings is preferred.
Minimum of a high school diploma; a vocational certificate or diploma in a relevant field is an advantage.
