Job Description
As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Rerun.io, you will bridge the gap between technical demos and full-scale production for world-class robotics teams. You will build working proofs of concept, solve complex integration challenges, and act as a critical feedback loop between customers and the engineering roadmap to drive product adoption.

What You Will Do
Lead technical onboarding and demos, sitting with customers from first contact through production to build deep engineer-to-engineer trust and ensure success.
Develop and deploy working proofs of concept using Python, translating messy customer data problems into elegant, functional solutions using the Rerun SDK.
Serve as the expert power user of the platform, feeding field insights directly back to the product team to influence the future roadmap.
The ideal candidate
Possesses a strong technical foundation in robotics, ML, or data engineering, with the ability to confidently navigate and contribute to complex, real-world codebases.
Demonstrates proficiency in Python, with a track record of reading and extending existing code to deliver functional prototypes and production-ready integrations.
Exhibits high agency and a genuine passion for solving customer problems, combined with a willingness to travel up to 30% for onsite engagements.
