Job Description
As the IT Audit SME at Trenta, you will bridge the gap between complex audit methodology and AI engineering. You will translate SOC, ISO, and PCI requirements into technical specifications for AI agents, design automated workflows, and validate product features to ensure they meet professional standards for top-tier accounting firms.

Collaborate directly with founders and engineers to define how emerging AI technologies transform traditional frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
What You Will Do
Translate SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001/27701, and PCI DSS requirements into precise technical specifications for AI-driven automation and agent workflows.
Partner with engineering to design and validate automated audit procedures that produce report-ready evidence meeting AICPA, ISO, and PCI SSC standards.
Interface with customer compliance teams and auditors to demonstrate methodology, validate controls, and support expansion across multiple regulatory frameworks.
The ideal candidate
Has eight or more years of hands-on IT audit experience, ideally from a Big Four or recognized public accounting firm running large-scale SOC/ISO engagements.
Holds professional credentials such as CISA or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, with deep technical knowledge of scoping, sampling, and evidence evaluation.
Demonstrates a builder mindset with active experience using AI tools to accelerate work and bridge the gap between compliance requirements and technical implementation.
