Role Description The Assistant Manager role at Aditya Birla Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Vagra. The role involves supporting day-to-day operations, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that business processes are executed efficiently and in line with organizational policies. The Assistant Manager will help monitor performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include managing stakeholder communication, overseeing routine administrative and operational tasks, and contributing to project implementation and compliance with safety and quality standards. The individual in this role is expected to uphold the Group’s values, foster collaboration, and support the timely achievement of operational and strategic goals.
Qualifications
Strong operational and administrative abilities, including coordination, planning, and basic project management skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in standard office software and digital tools; familiarity with ERP or enterprise systems is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field; relevant industry experience in operations or manufacturing preferred.
Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance, with a willingness to learn and adapt to organizational processes and standards.
Ability to work on-site in Vagra and contribute positively to a diverse, inclusive, and team-oriented workplace.
