We are looking for an enthusiastic Research & Development Consultant with an open and curious mindset, who is eager to learn, grow, and actively help build and strengthen GAEU Consulting’s position in the European innovation ecosystem. This role is open to candidates at an early career stage with no prior experience in EU funding, however, if you already have experience in grant writing or innovation projects, this position is also a great fit for you.
Your Role
As a Research & Development Consultant, you will:
Collaborate directly with international clients as part of our Innovation Funding Team, working on ambitious R&D and innovation projects
Drive and support innovation initiatives by preparing high-quality grant applications for forward-thinking technologies and companies
Manage projects across the full lifecycle - from research and structured grant application texts to pitch decks, videos, and ongoing client support during reporting phases
Help validate and develop business plans and innovation strategies for technology-driven companies across ICT, green tech, deep tech, and life sciences
Gain hands-on exposure to Europe’s most innovative companies, emerging technologies, and market trends
Who You Are
Education: A Master’s degree (or higher) in life science
Language skills: Proficient in English, with strong technical writing abilities and confident verbal communication
Communicator: Comfort working with clients in meetings and calls
Problem-solver: Motivated by intellectual challenges and proactive in finding solutions
Fast learner: Curious, adaptable, and open to feedback
Previous experience with EU grants is a plus, but not a requirement
