Role Description The Vendor Partner role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Vendor Partner will manage relationships with logistics vendors, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and resolving day-to-day operational issues. This role involves coordinating shipments, tracking delivery timelines, and ensuring service levels are met in line with company standards. The Vendor Partner will handle pricing discussions, documentation, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The individual will collaborate closely with internal operations, finance, and customer service teams to maintain smooth, cost-effective logistics operations and support business growth.
Qualifications
Experience in vendor management, supplier coordination, or partner relations in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
Strong organizational and coordination skills to handle multiple vendors, shipments, and timelines simultaneously.
Ability to negotiate rates and terms, analyze cost structures, and support cost-optimization initiatives.
Comfort with documentation, basic data analysis, and use of logistics or ERP systems for tracking and reporting.
Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams, both verbally and in writing.
Understanding of basic logistics operations, transportation modes, and standard industry practices.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, handle field or warehouse visits when needed, and respond to time-sensitive issues.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related discipline.
Preferred: Prior experience in an Indian logistics environment and familiarity with local regulatory and compliance requirements.
