We are hiring for a Head – Supply Chain Management role with a fast-growing consumer appliances organization. The role will lead the end-to-end supply chain function, covering domestic procurement, import sourcing, planning, inventory management, logistics, and supplier development.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Lead strategic sourcing, procurement and supplier management across domestic and international suppliers.
Manage import purchases, global sourcing, customs compliance, freight management and logistics partners.
Develop supply chain strategies focused on service levels, cost efficiency and inventory optimization.
Ensure uninterrupted material availability through effective demand planning, inventory control and supplier engagement.
Drive commercial negotiations, contracts and pricing with domestic and overseas suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance across quality, delivery, responsiveness and cost.
Identify and mitigate supply-chain risks through contingency planning and business continuity measures.
Partner with Operations, Finance, Quality, R&D and Sales teams to align SCM with business objectives.
Track KPIs around procurement, inventory, supplier performance and working capital.
Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing SCM team.
🔹 What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations or a related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management.
Strong hands-on experience in domestic procurement + import purchasing/global sourcing.
Good understanding of international trade, customs regulations and freight forwarding.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP / Oracle / MS Dynamics.
Strong capabilities in strategic sourcing, supply planning, inventory management, vendor management, commercial negotiations and logistics.
