Role Description The Telecommunications Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining telecommunications systems and networks that support the company’s operations and client communications. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring system performance, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring reliable voice and data connectivity across offices and project sites. The specialist will document configurations and procedures, support end users with telecom-related queries, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize communication infrastructure for business efficiency and client service.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Telecommunications Systems and core Telecommunications concepts.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with teams and interact with clients and vendors.
Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve telecom and network-related issues.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide responsive, professional support to internal and external stakeholders.
Relevant experience with PBX, VoIP, wired and wireless networks, and telecom hardware and software is beneficial.
Diploma or degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate technical documentation is required.
Familiarity with security best practices, vendor coordination, and basic networking protocols is an advantage.
