Chief Technology Officer

We need a technology executive who can balance product ambition with sound engineering decisions and delivery discipline. You will set technical direction, guide architecture and engineering, influence product decisions, and build a technology organisation that can scale with the business.
A practical approach and the ability to work independently will serve you well in this market. In Australia, we want someone who can build local relationships, identify opportunities, and keep conversations focused on business value.
This role is for an experienced leader who can set direction, make sound commercial decisions, and take responsibility for results across the function.
What you will do
• Help develop strong engineering practices and people
• Set clear technical priorities and standards
• Work with engineering and product leaders on architecture
• Review delivery quality, reliability, and technical risk
• Support important technical decisions
What we are looking for
• Significant leadership experience in the relevant function
• Strong judgement and ability to make decisions with incomplete information
• Experience building teams, setting priorities, and managing performance
• Excellent communication with senior internal and external stakeholders
• An understanding of the Australian business environment is useful.
