Role Description The Social Media Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves planning, creating, and publishing engaging social media content aligned with Ajanta Pharma’s brand and communication objectives. The Social Media Officer will manage day-to-day activities on platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and others, including content scheduling, community management, and responding to comments and queries in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities include supporting social media campaigns, optimizing posts for reach and engagement, monitoring performance metrics, and preparing regular reports to inform future strategies. The role also requires close collaboration with marketing, communications, and other internal teams to ensure consistent messaging, adherence to regulatory and compliance guidelines, and effective promotion of company initiatives and thought leadership.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Writing to develop clear, accurate, and engaging posts and campaigns.
Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing to plan and execute platform-specific campaigns that support brand awareness and audience growth.
Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Optimization (SMO) to enhance visibility, improve engagement, and leverage analytics for continuous improvement.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and interact effectively with online communities.
Relevant experience managing corporate or brand social media accounts, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or regulated industries.
Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, native platform insights) is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
