The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include but may not be limited to the following. Additional duties may be assigned depending upon the needs of the business.
Primary Responsibility:
Responsible for developing and executing the global product strategy for assigned product lines across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. Leads the product lifecycle from Voice of Customer insights through development, commercialization, and ongoing portfolio optimization to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market leadership.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Sets the global strategy and roadmap for assigned product lines, translating customer, market, competitive, and technology insights into clear portfolio priorities and growth actions.
Leads assigned products through the NPD and VAVE stage-gate processes, ensuring clear customer validation, business cases, requirements, prioritization, launch readiness, and post-launch performance.
Serves as the global business and application leader for assigned products, equipping Sales and other functions with the product knowledge, training, tools, and decision support needed to win.
Leads Voice of Customer and market discovery to define unmet needs, target segments, differentiated value propositions, and the economic value Maxcess can create and monetize.
Acts as the cross-functional integrator across Sales, Marketing, R&D, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance to convert strategy into coordinated execution and measurable business results.
Maintains an external orientation by monitoring customers, OEMs, partners, competitors, applications, and industry trends, translating ambiguous market shifts into clear strategic and commercial actions.
Builds and maintains competitive intelligence that clarifies Maxcess’s differentiation, market position, win/loss drivers, and portfolio implications.
Collaborates on global pricing strategy and price realization for assigned products, including value-based pricing, discount discipline, sales tools, launch positioning, and commercial support for priority opportunities.
Owns certain key product-line P&L levers—price, volume, mix, margin, and cost—using performance data to prioritize profitable growth, portfolio simplification, VAVE, and resource allocation.
Candidate Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, Commercial Leadership, or related discipline.
Demonstrated success leading product strategies in industrial, manufacturing, automation, converting, or related markets.
Proven experience managing product portfolios and driving business growth.
Experience developing business cases, product roadmaps, and commercialization strategies.
Experience working in a global business environment with cross-functional teams
P&L management experience strongly preferred.
ERP system knowledge and experience is required.
Extensive travel is required (30%+), both domestic and international.
Job Qualifications and Experience:
Prior experience in a B2B manufacturing environment is preferred.
Significant experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma is a plus.
Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.

Design - Generates creative solutions; Translates concepts and information into images; Uses feedback to modify designs; Applies design principles.
Business Acumen - Understands business implications of decisions; Displays orientation to profitability; Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; Aligns work with strategic goals.
