Role Description
The Business Development Manager for corporate giftings will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing corporate clients for gifting solutions, with a focus on bulk orders and customized spice hampers. This full-time, on-site role in Gurugram involves building and managing a sales pipeline, conducting client meetings and presentations, and developing long-term relationships with corporate partners, event agencies, and HR/procurement teams. The role includes collaborating with marketing and operations to design gifting packages, ensure timely fulfillment, and maintain high service standards. The Business Development Manager will track performance metrics, prepare sales reports, and continuously explore new business opportunities in corporate, institutional, and premium gifting segments.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business development, corporate sales, or B2B gifting, preferably in FMCG, lifestyle, or consumer goods.
Skills in lead generation, client relationship management, negotiation, and closing deals with corporate stakeholders.
Ability to design and present tailored gifting solutions, including pricing, packaging concepts, and proposal development.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers across HR, admin, procurement, and leadership.
Comfort with using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic sales reporting to manage pipelines and track performance.
High level of ownership, resilience, and goal orientation in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Interest in food, spices, or gourmet products and familiarity with D2C or e-commerce brands is a plus.
