Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Courier role based in pattukkottai. The Courier is responsible for picking up and delivering packages, documents, and goods according to assigned routes and schedules. Daily tasks include verifying orders, securing items for transport, maintaining accurate delivery records, and collecting signatures or payment where required. The role involves coordinating with dispatch or logistics staff, communicating with customers regarding delivery status, and reporting any issues or delays promptly. The Courier is also expected to follow safety guidelines, keep delivery vehicles clean and in good condition, and comply with local traffic regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication and professional interaction with clients.
Candidates should possess Logistics Management and Transportation skills to handle routing, timely deliveries, and safe handling of goods.
Candidates should possess Training and Food & Beverage exposure where applicable, to follow specialized handling procedures for sensitive or perishable items.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, with familiarity navigating within Pattukkottai.
Ability to lift and carry packages safely, and work on feet for extended periods.
Basic record-keeping skills and comfort using mobile devices or delivery apps.
Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
Prior experience in courier, delivery, or logistics roles is an advantage, but candidates with strong motivation and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
