We're looking for a backend engineer who enjoys building scalable systems, solving complex technical problems, and shipping fast. You'll work closely with product, AI/ML, and frontend teams to build reliable backend infrastructure and APIs that power our platform
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
Develop robust microservices and distributed systems.
Work on database design, optimisation, and data modelling.
Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and AI/LLM services.
Improve system performance, reliability, and security.
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ship features end-to-end.
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
Requirements:
2-4 years of backend engineering experience in product/startup environments.
Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Go.
Experience building REST APIs and backend services at scale.
Solid understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of system design, caching, queues, and distributed systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset.
Ability to move fast in a high-ambiguity startup environment.
