Responsibilities:
Lead design, development, and scaling of backend systems with high availability, performance, and security.
Own system architecture, database design, APIs, and integrations ensure reliability and scalability.
Mentor backend engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and deployments.
Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and DevOps to translate requirements into robust backend solutions.
Drive technical decisions, manage delivery timelines, and ensure production stability through monitoring and optimization.
Requirements:
6+ years of total experience, including time in a Tech Lead or similar hands-on leadership role.
Technology Stack: Strong competency in Backend (Java and Python), React.js, databases (SQL/Mongodb), cloud (AWS).
B. Tech in a core engineering discipline (Computer Science).
Team-handling experience managing teams of Developers.
Strong deployment and troubleshooting experience in SaaS or startup environments.
Prior startup experience highly preferred.
