Platform Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Platform Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in designing, building, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in automating infrastructure, improving platform reliability, and enabling engineering teams to deliver secure, highly available, and cost-efficient applications. Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Build automation for infrastructure provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and incident response.
Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Build internal tools and automation to improve developer productivity.
Ensure infrastructure meets high standards for reliability, scalability, security, and observability.
Reliability and Operations:
Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and postmortems.
Drive continuous improvements in platform reliability, availability, and resilience.
Maintain infrastructure that meets defined SLAs and operational best practices.
Collaboration:
Work closely with application, product, and data engineering teams to understand infrastructure requirements.
Participate in architecture reviews and system design discussions.
Deliver stable, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
Quality and Best Practices:
Implement automated infrastructure testing and validation.
Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices.
Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Promote secure infrastructure practices across cloud environments.
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Go, Java, or Ruby.
Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, distributed systems, and infrastructure automation.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
Good to Have:
Experience with cloud security, compliance, or cloud cost optimization.
Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
Experience with production on-call ownership.
Background in fintech or high-volume transaction processing systems.
