UI / UX Designer

We're looking for a Senior Designer with strong foundations in UX, interaction design, and visual design to build intuitive, scalable consumer-facing experiences. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and growth teams to shape end-to-end user journeys from problem discovery to polished execution across our mobile and web platforms. This role is ideal for someone who balances user empathy, strong craft, and product thinking in a fast-paced fintech environment.
The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:
Own Product and UX Design:
Own end-to-end design for key product flows across mobile and web.
Translate complex fintech concepts into simple, intuitive user experiences.
Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
Use user research, data, and feedback to inform design decisions.
Advocate for usability, accessibility, and design best practices.
Interaction and Visual Design:
Design clean, modern interfaces aligned with Safegold's brand and design language.
Ensure consistency across products through thoughtful use of components and patterns.
Balance aesthetics with usability and performance.
Elevate the overall product experience through strong attention to detail and interaction design.
Design Systems and Scalability:
Contribute to and evolve Safegold's design system.
Create reusable components and documentation for scale and efficiency.
Work closely with engineering to ensure accurate and high-quality implementation.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with product managers to define problems and explore solutions.
Collaborate with engineers throughout the design-to-build process.
Work with growth and marketing teams on product-led campaigns and initiatives.
Present design concepts clearly to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or interaction design (Senior title based on experience and ownership level).
Formal education in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or similar.
Strong portfolio showcasing consumer-facing digital products and problem-solving.
Proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and collaboration.
Solid understanding of UX principles, usability, and design systems.
Bonus: experience in fintech, consumer apps, or data-informed design.

Detail-oriented with high standards for design quality and consistency.
Comfortable working in ambiguity and iterating quickly.
