We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / Microsoft Fabric professional with strong expertise in data engineering, analytics, and enterprise reporting.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data models.
Work extensively on Microsoft Fabric: Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, Data Pipelines, Dataflows, Notebooks, and Semantic Models.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, datasets, semantic models, and Power BI reports.
Implement data modelling, dimensional modelling, Medallion Architecture, and Lakehouse patterns.
Perform data ingestion, transformation, validation, testing, and production support.
Create source-to-target mappings, data flow diagrams, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
Optimize pipelines and reports for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Requirements:
6+ years of experience in data engineering/BI/analytics.
Strong hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience.
Must-have skills: Power BI and Advanced SQL, ETL/ELT, Data Pipelines and Data Modelling, Lakehouse / Data Warehouse architecture.
Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, or Databricks.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good to have: SAP data / SAP data structures, HANA modelling, SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau, and enterprise reporting experience.
Experience working with global / cross-functional teams.
