Hardware Engineer - IoT / Telematics

We are looking for a telematics Hardware Engineer with 2-4 years of relevant experience in electronic control module development. The candidate will be responsible for developing electronic components such as Telematics Control Modules (TCM) for tractors, harvesters, and construction machines.
Responsibilities:
Develop electronic control modules and telematics components as per development procedures.
Handle the complete component development lifecycle from requirements, concept, design, development, testing, production, and post-production.
Design and review electronic schematics, circuits, and hardware architecture.
Select appropriate microcontrollers, semiconductors, and other electronic components.
Perform design calculations, simulations, validation, and troubleshooting.
Work closely with electrical engineering, project, purchase, quality, cost management, and supplier teams.
Evaluate supplier technical capabilities and support supplier selection.
Prepare RFQ/Product Cards, ECNs, component development plans, and technical specifications.
Review and participate in DFMEA activities.
Prepare component-level DVP, evaluate test results, and implement corrective actions.
Support vehicle-level testing and validation.
Release component drawings and support quality and reliability improvements.
Assist in root-cause analysis and resolution of issues identified during testing.
Work with geographically distributed international teams.
Requirements:
2-4 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in electronics/electronics and communication or a related field.
Strong experience in core electronics hardware design.
Experience with electronic control modules / ECU / TCU / telematics modules.
Hands-on knowledge of schematic design, hardware/system design, microcontrollers, semiconductor selection, design calculations, simulation, bootloader/BSP, DFMEA, DVP, and validation.
Good understanding of control-module production processes such as SMT assembly, injection molding, and end-of-line testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet aggressive deadlines.
Good to Have:
Knowledge of CREO, Teamcenter, or Polarion.
Experience in automotive, agriculture, construction, or commercial vehicles.
Knowledge of electronics component homologation requirements for India, Europe, and America.
Experience with supplier development and vehicle-level testing.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
