IoT Software Engineer (Telematics)

Responsibilities:
Develop electronic control modules, including Telematic Control Modules, for tractors, harvesters, and construction equipment.
Support the complete development lifecycle from requirements, concept, design, testing, production, and post-production.
Work on modular design and part commonization across platforms.
Collaborate with electrical engineering, project, procurement, quality, cost management teams, and suppliers.
Evaluate supplier technical capabilities and support supplier selection.
Prepare RFQs/Product Cards, ECNs, specifications, development plans, and engineering documentation.
Review supplier DFMEA and participate in system-level DFMEA activities.
Prepare and execute part-level DVPs; support vehicle-level validation and testing.
Assist in root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality/reliability improvements.
Release component drawings and support supplier development activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electronics and Communication Engineering.
2-4 years of relevant experience in electronics hardware/control module development.
Hands-on experience in system design, schematic design, design calculations, microcontroller/semiconductor selection, and hardware simulation.
Basic knowledge of embedded software such as bootloaders and BSP.
Knowledge of control module manufacturing processes, including SMT, injection molding, and end-of-line testing.
Knowledge of CREO, Teamcenter, or Polarion is desirable.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to work with international teams and manage multiple priorities.
Experience in agriculture, construction, commercial, or off-highway vehicles is desirable.
Knowledge of electronics homologation requirements for India, Europe, and America is an advantage.
Willingness to travel domestically/internationally as required.
Candidates with 2-4 years of relevant experience are preferred; senior-level candidates are not being considered.
