The Senior Java Software Engineer will provide progressive and best-in-class solutions to various RESTful services, applications, and data systems using the following technologies and methodologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related technical field is required (or equivalent experience), plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Agile experience preferred.
Must have current hands-on experience with the following technologies:
Core Java and JDK 11+.
Unit and Integration testing experience using Junit.
J2EE, Spring Framework and JPA / Hibernate.
Maven, Git and Jenkins.
JSON RESTful web service development.
Experience developing in a cloud environment (Azure preferred).
Solid understanding of core Java concepts and design patterns.
JDBC, RDBMS, Cassandra, Kafka, ActiveMQ, NoSQL.
Kubernetes and Docker.
