Assistant Project Manager

Role Description About the Role
Enviropass is looking for a part-time contractor to take on an assistant Project Coordinator role:
handling quote requests, chasing quotes and invoices, and keeping communication flowing between clients and our project teams delivering environmental reports for planning applications.
This is a flexible fully remote contract role, £25-£30 per hour. 10-20 hours per week.
Must be based in the UK.
You won't be producing technical reports yourself, but you'll need a working understanding of the UK planning process and the types of environmental assessments that support it, so you can talk to clients and project teams with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Handle incoming quote requests from clients, gathering the necessary project details
Forward enquiries to the relevant project teams and coordinate turnaround
Chase outstanding quotes and invoices with clients
Act as a day-to-day point of contact for client enquiries
Communicate by phone with project teams and people on site
Keep clients updated on progress and next steps across live projects
Report to the Head of Business Development and Managing Director

About You
Experience with the UK planning system and planning application process
Strong verbal communication skills over the phone
Comfortable working independently, managing your own time across a 10–15 hour week
Strong organisational skills, comfortable managing multiple live projects and deadlines at once
Confident communicator, both on the phone and in writing, with clients and site teams
Comfortable chasing payments and quotes professionally
Relevant membership or qualification beneficial but not essential, such as:
MIEMA (Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment)
MRTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute)
MIOA (Institute of Acoustics)
MIAQM (Institute of Air Quality Management)
MCIEEM (Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management)
A transport planning or civil engineering qualification
