Role Description The Paediatric Physiotherapist will provide assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services for children with a range of physical, developmental, and neurological conditions. Responsibilities include conducting detailed physical evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering hands-on interventions to improve strength, balance, coordination, posture, and functional mobility. The role involves close collaboration with occupational therapists, physicians, educators, and families to set goals, monitor progress, and adjust treatment strategies as needed. The physiotherapist will maintain accurate documentation, participate in case discussions, and provide education to caregivers on home-based exercises and safe handling techniques. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cuddapah, requiring regular interaction with children in clinical and therapy settings.
Qualifications
Relevant academic background, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, preferably with specialization or experience in pediatrics.
Strong clinical skills in pediatric assessment, therapeutic exercise, neurodevelopmental treatment, and rehabilitation planning.
Ability to design individualized treatment plans and use play-based, child-centered approaches to engage children in therapy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory practice and creating an inclusive, safe environment for children of diverse backgrounds.
Good documentation and organizational skills, including maintaining clear treatment records and progress reports.
Willingness to participate in continuing education, training, and skill development related to pediatric physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Prior experience in pediatric physiotherapy or in a pediatric rehabilitation or occupational therapy setting is an advantage.
