Role Description The Jeet Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Varanasi, responsible for driving sales of life insurance products and achieving business targets through effective branch and field engagement. In this role, the Jeet Manager works closely with bank branch staff to generate leads, provide product guidance, and support customers in choosing suitable life insurance solutions. The position involves regular customer meetings, follow-ups, and ensuring a high level of service and compliance with company and regulatory standards. The Jeet Manager is expected to plan and execute local sales initiatives, conduct training and motivation sessions for frontline teams, and maintain accurate reporting of daily activities and business performance. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and participation in review meetings are key parts of the day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications
Strong sales and business development skills, with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets in financial services or insurance.
Customer relationship management and communication skills, including the ability to explain life insurance products clearly and build trust.
Ability to work effectively with bank branch staff and cross-functional teams, with strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
Sound understanding of life insurance concepts, basic financial planning, and regulatory norms, or willingness to learn quickly.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in finance, business, or a related field is an advantage.
Prior experience in bancassurance, insurance sales, or retail financial products is preferred.
Comfort with using basic digital tools (email, MS Office, CRM or sales reporting systems) for daily work and documentation.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while adhering to company policies and ethical standards.
Familiarity with the local market in Varanasi and surrounding areas, with the ability to travel
