Role Description The Assistant Warehouse Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune. This role supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching pharmaceutical products in alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, coordinating stock movements, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining accurate records in warehouse management systems. The role involves supervising warehouse staff, promoting safe material handling practices, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and hygiene protocols. The Assistant Warehouse Manager also collaborates with procurement, production, and logistics teams to optimize stock availability, reduce discrepancies, and improve overall warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Stock Control and Inventory Control to maintain accurate records and minimize stock discrepancies.
Candidates should have experience in Inventory Management and Operations Management to ensure efficient warehouse workflows and resource utilization.
Candidates should be competent in Forklift Operation and safe material handling practices, with familiarity in using warehouse equipment.
Candidates should have good analytical and problem-solving abilities, including basic proficiency with warehouse or ERP software and MS Office tools.
Candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills, the ability to supervise teams, and a strong focus on safety and compliance.
A diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related field, along with prior experience in pharmaceutical or FMCG warehousing, is highly beneficial.
