Role Description The Vice President of Administration & Business Development is a full-time, remote position responsible for overseeing administrative operations and driving strategic growth initiatives for Helvetia Global Solutions Ltd and its UK Branch. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing budgeting and financial planning processes, optimizing administrative policies and procedures, and ensuring effective coordination across functional teams. The role leads business development activities such as identifying new market opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients and intermediaries, and supporting the design of innovative insurance solutions. The Vice President will collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning, performance analysis, and the implementation of operational improvements. This position also involves mentoring team members, monitoring regulatory and compliance requirements, and representing the organization in key internal and external meetings.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, evaluate business performance, and support decision-making.
Candidates should possess Finance and Accounting skills to oversee financial operations, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support financial planning.
Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to develop, manage, and monitor budgets aligned with strategic and operational objectives.
Candidates should possess Strategic Planning skills to define growth priorities, develop long-term plans, and align initiatives with organizational goals.
Experience in insurance or financial services, particularly in corporate or commercial lines, is highly beneficial.
Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change in a remote or multi-location environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
Relevant university degree (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics, Management) or equivalent professional experience; advanced qualifications (e.g., MBA, professional finance or insurance certifications) are an advantage.
