Role Description The Holiday Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kozhikode. The Holiday Consultant will advise clients on travel options, design customized holiday packages, and manage bookings for flights, accommodation, and tours. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to inquiries, preparing itineraries and quotations, coordinating visa and documentation processes, and ensuring smooth end-to-end travel arrangements. The role involves maintaining accurate records, working with travel partners and vendors, and providing proactive service before, during, and after travel. The Holiday Consultant will also contribute to promotional activities, support sales targets, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications
Experience in travel consulting or customer service, ideally in a travel agency or tourism environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand client needs and explain options clearly.
Proficiency in itinerary planning, holiday package creation, and basic sales techniques.
Comfort with booking systems, online travel platforms, and standard office software.
Attention to detail and organizational skills for handling multiple bookings, documents, and deadlines.
Knowledge of popular domestic and international destinations, visa requirements, and travel regulations is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, including occasional extended hours during peak travel seasons.
Relevant diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
