Role Description The Vice President, Information Technology is a full-time remote role responsible for providing vision, leadership, and direction for all IT functions across the organization. This role oversees the design, implementation, and support of technology systems, including infrastructure, applications, security, and data management, ensuring they align with business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring IT teams, setting technology priorities, managing budgets, and coordinating cross-functional projects with business stakeholders. The VP will drive IT strategy and digital transformation, implement governance frameworks, monitor performance metrics, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. This position also establishes vendor relationships, evaluates new technologies, and develops roadmaps that enhance reliability, scalability, and user experience.
Qualifications
Strong background in Information Technology, including enterprise systems, infrastructure, security, and cloud solutions.
Proven experience in IT Management and leadership, with responsibility for teams, budgets, and vendor relationships.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute IT Strategy that aligns with overall business objectives.
Experience in Project Management, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Expertise in Strategic Planning, with a track record of building long-term technology roadmaps and governance frameworks.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Experience in executive-level reporting, KPI development, and data-driven decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP, TOGAF) are beneficial.
Background in digital transformation, change management, and adoption of modern platforms and tools.
