TITLE: Associate Talent Manager
REPORTS TO: VP/Director of Business Affairs
LOCATION: Remote (PST working hours)
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Associate Talent Manager will work closely with the Business Affairs and Talent Management teams to support client needs across TV, radio, social media, and internet content for both union and non-union productions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process all talent related documents, such as creating talent contracts, gathering, and uploading payment documentation
Create, manage, and reconcile talent estimates both session and residuals
Process residual cycles as per media buys
Process holding fee, guarantee payment and cycle expiration notifications in a timely manner
Submit Taft Hartley forms, Stations 12’s, special waiver paperwork as required by the union
Generate necessary reports: talent contracts, production reports, completion reports, talent advice, guarantees, etc. in the various entertainment payroll vendor platforms
Coordinate talent payment processing communication between talent, talent agents, and entertainment payroll vendors; while maintaining accurate talent and commercial document files
Manage client account transition documentation/transfer of rights
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years of experience with knowledge and understanding of SAG-AFTRA TV Commercials Contract and the SAG-AFTRA Corp/Education & Non-Broadcast Contract
Minimum 2 years payroll experience with knowledge of non-union talent payments
Knowledge of union and non-union rules and guidelines
Experience with talent budgeting/estimating for union and non-union session and residuals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information professionally, clearly, and succinctly
Strong client-facing skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical skills
Comfortable learning and using new or proprietary technology as required

Compensation at 7Miles Global varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to level of experience, location, role, and skill set. The range of compensation for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 USD. 7Miles Global offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan, paid holidays, and paid time off.
