Role Description The Chief Solutions Architect is a full-time, remote role responsible for defining and overseeing the technical vision for AI and machine learning solutions within Neural Nexus initiatives. This role includes designing end-to-end solution architectures for club projects, ensuring that software components, integrations, and data flows align with strategic goals and best practices. The Chief Solutions Architect collaborates with project teams, mentors student developers, and provides consulting guidance on technology choices, platforms, and tools. Day-to-day activities involve reviewing and refining solution designs, documenting architectures, coordinating with stakeholders to understand requirements, and ensuring that implementations meet performance, scalability, and security needs. The role also includes establishing standards, promoting reusable patterns, and helping shape the club’s technical roadmap in alignment with emerging industry trends.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Solution Architecture skills, including designing scalable, secure, and maintainable end-to-end systems.
Candidates should possess Consulting capabilities, such as stakeholder engagement, requirements analysis, and advisory support on technology strategy.
Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including experience with AI/ML frameworks, modern programming languages, and collaborative development practices.
Candidates should possess Integration skills, including API design, data integration, and connecting disparate systems into cohesive solutions.
Candidates should possess Business Process understanding, with the ability to map technical solutions to organizational needs and optimize workflows.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps or DevOps practices is highly beneficial.
Strong communication, documentation, and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide diverse teams in a remote environment.
Background in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field; prior leadership in technical or architectural roles is an advantage.
