Audio and Video Editor

Role Description The Audio and Video Editor will be responsible for planning, editing, and producing high-quality video and audio content that supports Cherla Health’s communication and education goals. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, synchronizing audio and video, applying color correction, cleaning and enhancing sound, and creating visually engaging outputs aligned with brand guidelines. The role involves collaborating with content creators, medical experts, and marketing professionals to develop motion graphics, titles, and visual assets that make complex health topics easy to understand. This is a part-time, on and off-site role based in Visakhapatnam, requiring part-time presence in the office for production, review sessions, and collaboration with the wider team. The candidate should be able to adapt to new editing software, and take full responsibility for quality edited videos.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including handling raw footage, timelines, and post-production workflows.
Experience with industry-standard editing and graphics tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop or Descript or equivalents).
Strong attention to detail, ability to follow creative briefs, and commitment to maintaining brand and quality standards.
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
Relevant education or training in film, media, visual communication, or a related field
