About The Role
To lead end-to-end costing, budgeting, and commercial control for civil works across projects, ensuring financial discipline, cost optimization, and alignment with project and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project costing across lifecycle stages including feasibility, design, tendering, and execution
Prepare and validate detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cash flows for civil works
Drive end-to-end cost control by monitoring budgets, validating commercial decisions, and proactively mitigating cost overruns
Review BOQs, rate analysis, and support tendering, vendor evaluation, and contract finalization
Evaluate contractor claims, variations, and change orders; ensure commercial accuracy and control
Partner with site, procurement, and finance teams to drive cost efficiency and timely decision-making
Maintain cost benchmarks, rate databases, and track commodity trends impacting project costs
Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize costs without compromising quality or timelines
Provide periodic MIS, dashboards, and actionable insights to leadership
Ensure strong governance and adherence to cost control frameworks, processes, and audit requirements
Leverage ERP/cost management systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent) for tracking and reporting
