What You Will Do
The Senior Analyst, Operations Finance will support recurring financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis across Operations and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). This role will own core reporting processes, maintain and build scalable analytical tools, and partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Accounting teams to explain financial performance and improve visibility into key cost drivers. A strong candidate will combine strong attention to detail with the ability to translate complex operational data into clear, actionable insights. You will be a critical contributor on a growing and impactful finance team.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Month End Close
Own recurring month-end Operations and COGS reporting packages, including preparation, validation, and distribution of reporting packages
Develop reporting packages and perform detailed variance analysis across material costs, manufacturing costs, site performance, product mix, and other key operations metrics
Partner with Accounting and Operations to investigate material variances and ensure financial results are accurately understood
Develop concise commentary explaining performance vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods
Maintain reporting schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
Identify opportunities to automate and standardize recurring reporting processes
Productivity Tracking
Maintain tools used to track productivity initiatives, realized savings, project timing and forecast impacts
Partner with project owners to validate assumptions and update financial impacts
Reconcile productivity results between project tracking, forecasts, and actual financial performance
Highlight risks, timing shifts, and gaps against productivity projects
Support development of reporting that improves visibility into the productivity pipeline
Financial Planning
Support ongoing financial planning processes by providing in-depth analysis and actionable insights aimed at improving the visibility and accuracy of COGS
Collaborate across functions to ensure that all operational projects are accurately integrated into financial models and planning processes by tracking the financial impact of ongoing initiatives and making necessary adjustments to plans
Assist with forecast updates related to commodity costs, production performance, co-manufacturing expenses, and other COGS drivers
Prepare ad hoc analyses to support operational decisions and financial reviews
Business Partnership and Process Improvement
Build effective working relationships across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations
Support cost analysis for operational initiatives and business cases
Develop dashboards and analytical tools that improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and usability
Who You Are
2+ year(s) of relevant experience in consulting, finance, accounting, or related quantitative field
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required
Advanced in Excel, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling
Familiarity with Netsuite, BI, CRM and financial planning applications is a plus
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and relationship management skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement
Experience with manufacturing or consumer products is a plus

Salary Range Opportunity:
The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 + 10% annual bonus
Compensation Philosophy & Total Comp:
Our salary ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry.
Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
In addition to base salary, full-time team members receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K 6% match, and monthly reimbursements for wellness and home office.
