Role Description The Senior Director Finance is a full-time remote role responsible for leading financial strategy, planning, and management for the organization. This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and compliance with relevant regulations and policies. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and interpreting financial statements, directing financial reporting cycles, and providing executive leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations. The Senior Director Finance will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, guide financial risk management, optimize resource allocation, and support key business decisions. The role also involves mentoring finance team members, implementing process improvements, and ensuring accurate, timely financial information for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Finance expertise, including Financial Planning and Financial Statements.
Candidates should possess skills in Financial Reporting and Analytical Skills.
Extensive experience in senior finance or leadership roles, ideally within international or complex organizational structures.
Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting tools, and ERP/financial systems.
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
Ability to lead and develop high-performing remote and distributed teams.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are an advantage.
