Role Description
The Vice President of Technology is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the technology vision and execution across the organization. This position oversees the development and implementation of IT strategies that support sustainable asset management, regulatory requirements, and high-performing investment platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing technology roadmaps, managing complex IT projects, optimizing infrastructure and applications, and ensuring data integrity and security. The role collaborates closely with executive leadership, investment teams, risk management, and operations to align technology capabilities with business goals and client needs. The Vice President of Technology also leads and mentors technology teams, drives innovation, and evaluates emerging solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, evaluate technology performance, and support evidence-based decisions.
Expertise in Information Technology, including modern architectures, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and financial systems.
Proven experience in IT Strategy, with the ability to design and execute long-term technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Demonstrated Project Management capabilities in leading cross-functional initiatives, managing budgets, and delivering solutions on time.
Advanced Strategic Planning skills to balance innovation, risk, and operational stability in a regulated financial environment.
Leadership experience managing diverse technology teams, fostering collaboration, and developing talent in distributed or remote settings.
Background in financial services or asset management, with familiarity in ESG, regulatory requirements, and data governance, is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or equivalent experience is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with executive stakeholders, technical specialists, and business partners in a remote environment.
