Role Description This full-time, remote Account Executive – Western U.S. role is responsible for driving sales growth and managing customer relationships across the assigned territory. Day-to-day activities include identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, presenting Amcor’s packaging solutions, and negotiating contracts that align customer needs with company capabilities. The role involves maintaining regular communication with existing customers, coordinating with internal teams such as technical, operations, and customer service, and preparing sales forecasts and territory plans. The Account Executive will monitor market trends and competitor activity, participate in pricing and proposal development, and ensure that customer commitments are met on time and to quality standards. The position requires frequent virtual engagement and periodic travel within the Western U.S. to meet with customers and attend industry events as needed.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in B2B sales, account management, and territory development within a technical or manufacturing environment.
Experience in customer relationship building, consultative selling, and contract negotiation to achieve revenue and margin targets.
Ability to analyze market data, prepare sales reports and forecasts, and develop strategic account plans.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Comfort working remotely, managing time and priorities independently, and using CRM and digital collaboration tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in packaging, consumer goods, or healthcare products is highly beneficial; familiarity with technical product specifications is a plus.
Willingness to travel within the Western U.S. region as required and maintain a valid driver’s license.
