Entrust Family Office is a Bengaluru-based multi-family office. A Multi Family Office that handles all financial matters of Uber-Wealthy Families/ UHNI Individuals/ Corporates. Specialized in facilitating Investment Advisory, Shared CFO Services, Private Equity, Business Advisory, Legal & Taxation etc. Presently expanding its capabilities to fulfil client needs. Founded in Bengaluru in 2013, by industry professionals with work experience in senior roles in reputed organizations such as Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank and IL&FS Investment Managers.
Entrust’s CFO services provide virtual CFO services for UHNI families, start-ups and mature organisations in a plug and play model providing wide range of services from set-up to strategic finance support, restructure to IPO readiness/strategic acquisition.
Role Summary
We are looking for a senior Chartered Accountant to head the CFO Services vertical. The role combines practice leadership with hands-on finance work across startup finance, fundraising, fund administration and regulatory advisory with client facing experience. The person will lead a team of qualified professionals and act as the senior finance point of contact for UHNI families and corporate founders, promoters, and investors.
Key Responsibilities
• Vertical leadership: Lead the CFO Services team; own client delivery, quality review, resourcing and profitability of the vertical; scope and price new engagements.
• Virtual CFO services: Set up and run finance functions for client businesses, covering MIS, budgeting, FP&A, cash flow management, period closes, board reporting and internal controls.
• Fundraising and transactions: Support clients on fundraising readiness, financial models, cap tables and ESOPs, data rooms, term sheets, shareholder agreements and closing compliances.
• Structuring and compliance: Advise on domestic and cross-border holding structures, inbound and outbound investment compliance, and group restructuring.
• Fund administration: Oversee fund accounting, NAV computation, drawdowns and distributions, carried interest and waterfall calculations, valuations, LP reporting and SEBI compliance for Category I and II AIFs.
• Single Family Office: Managing the accounts, finance and reporting of the single-family office and its ecosystem with overall supervision of Tax and other regulatory matters.
• Investor relations: Act as the finance contact for LPs and GPs through onboarding, ongoing reporting, audits and diligence requests; coordinate with fund counsel on commercial terms.
• Stakeholder coordination: Work with auditors, legal counsel, valuers, bankers and regulators on behalf of clients.
Skills and Competencies Required
Technical
• Strong command of accounting standards (Ind AS), audit, internal financial controls and financial reporting.
• Financial modelling, valuation and scenario analysis; familiarity with fundraising documents such as term sheets and shareholder agreements.
• Working knowledge of AIF operations: fund accounting, NAV, waterfall mechanics, valuation guidelines (IPEV) and LP reporting preferred.
• Sound understanding of FEMA (FDI and ODI), the SEBI (Alternative Investment Funds) Regulations, 2012, the Companies Act, 2013 and the Income-tax Act, 2025, with the ability to read and apply the law directly.
• Understanding of cross-border structuring, transfer pricing and inter-company arrangements.
• Experience building MIS, dashboards and reporting templates.
Leadership and Stakeholder Management
• Ability to lead, review and develop a team of finance professionals.
• Confidence in dealing with founders, promoters, boards, fund managers and institutional investors.
• Clear, precise written and verbal communication, including investor and board-level reporting.
• Sound judgement, ownership and the ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines at once.
• Process orientation: building SOPs, checklists and review frameworks that scale.
Qualifications and Experience
• Chartered Accountant (ICAI).
• 10+ years of post-qualification experience across corporate finance, advisory and fund administration.
• Prior experience in team leadership and client-facing roles.
• Good to have: exposure to startups and the venture capital ecosystem, M&A or transaction advisory, and GIFT City (IFSC) structures.
