Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Appian Developer with 10+ years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on experience in Appian application development, BPM, workflow automation, and enterprise application integration.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, configure, and deploy enterprise applications using Appian BPM platform.
• Develop complex Appian SAIL interfaces, process models, records, reports, and workflows.
• Build reusable Appian components and applications following best practices.
• Integrate Appian applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Web APIs, and connected systems.
• Develop and optimize Appian expressions, rules, interfaces, and process models.
• Work with databases including SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Perform application performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop integrations with enterprise systems and third-party applications.
• Implement security, authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Appian development standards.
• Support production deployments, issue resolution, and application maintenance.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other developers.
• Mentor junior Appian developers and provide technical guidance.
Required Skills
• 10+ years of overall software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Appian development.
• Expertise in Appian SAIL, Process Models, Records, Interfaces, Expression Rules, and CDTs.
• Strong experience with Appian integrations and Web APIs.
• Experience with REST/SOAP services and enterprise integrations.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience with Appian application deployment and administration.
• Knowledge of Appian security and access management.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Appian Certified Lead Developer / Senior Developer certification preferred.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise Appian implementations.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Git, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience in production support and performance optimization.
